This all began one day while I was having drinks with my friend, Dennis, who had just recently moved to our beautiful city from Chicago. Dennis wanted to make friends and I wanted to start a "brunch thing". My idea was to visit all the brunch places in Houston and invite as many people as I could to join us. The challenge we faced was that I knew of only a handful of places to go. I had an associate that participated in brunch every Sunday and he didn't know of many places in Houston either. I began telling everyone of my plight. And before I knew it, more and more people came forward recommending various places to us to try. Additionally, anytime I passed what appeared to be an interesting restaurant, I would ask if they had a brunch. We decided among ourselves that there must be other Houstonians who are tired of the same brunch place but stay where they are because they just don't know any better. Well Brunch Beat is here to save the day! We are your "Go To" for brunch venues in Houston and hopefully we'll expand to other cities as well. Who knows? |
